Galy Farms knows how to do October right. Every weekend in October is family fun Pumpkinfest! Hay rides to the pumpkin patch, Corn Maze, Petting Farm, Haunted House and so much more!

#2 Family Harvest Festival
The gardens at the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific are truly beautiful. Check out this fun-filled event with lots of activities for the family on October 26th!

#3 The Victoria Native Friendship Centre Celebrates 50 years!
On Sunday September 29, 2019 there will be lunch, cake, dance, song, kids activities, art, language, info booths and vendors.

#5 Mitchell's Farm U-Pick Pumpkins
Get your camera ready for some classic fall photos in the pumpkin patch! Open 8:30-5:30, 7 days a week.

#6 Halloween in the Pool
Panorama Rec in North Saanich makes swimming the much spookier! Tricks and some treats, themed crafts and games with prizes. The Wibit and slide will be open! More info HERE.

#8 First Annual Summit Park Pumpkin Parade & Chili Cook-off
We love Quadra Village and are excited to hear about this event! Get ready for a chili cook-off, and bring your Halloween pumpkin 🎃. We will put candles in the pumpkins and line them up so that the whole neighbourhood can admire them. An enchanting fall experience.
Pumpkins will be lined up along the path up to Summit Park (behind the tower) from McNair Street. If enough neighbours bring pumpkins, they will stretch all the way through the park!
PS: Wagons and strollers work well for transporting heavy pumpkins.

#9 Thanksgiving Skate
Instead of a Thanksgiving Monday walk, how about a skate! Pop into Panorama Rec with your friends and family for a fun day of hot chocolate and skating. More info HERE.

Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich) Drop by anytime between 11am and 2pm with family and friends for this spook-tacular day of Halloween fun with CRD Regional Parks naturalists. At 11:15am and 1:15pm join the guided walks, if you dare - we’ll fill the cauldron with spooky treasures from the natural world. Displays, activities and Halloween crafts await! Wear a costume and win a prize.
