Mmm. Spice up December with some drinks that will warm you right up. These spots are mostly downtown Victoria - but one guest appearance from Cobble Hill (around a 30 minute drive up island).

In no particular order...
#1 The Empress Veranda - inner harbour
Cuddle up by the outdoor fire place and watch the goings on of the inner harbour. They've got spiced cider and a variety of other delicious holiday cocktails.
PS. This is a great spot to watch the Marina Light Up on Nov 29 in the inner harbour - check out the event details here here
#2 Breakwater Tasting-room - Ogden Point (James Bay)
Their heated covered patio is great for an evening of hot cocktail sipping and there's often live music. Tip: go to the back right corner where the fireplace is with bench seating.

#3 Argyle Attic - downtown Victoria
Sit by the fire or at the bar! They might not have hot cider but they do have an excellent whiskey list.

#4 Clive's Classic Lounge
Located in the lobby of the Chateau Victoria hotel, Clive' truly is a classic with some of the best cocktails in town. Check out their "Spice on Ice"

#5 Merridale Cidery and Distillery - Cobble Hill
Yule fuel. If you haven't tried it, you must! Merridale is a bit off the Victoria beat and track but worth the visit. It's beautiful at Christmas. Please be safe when driving the Malahat :)

** Yule Fuel is also a nice time to take to the beach in a tumbler.
